AJ Rogers and Maria Doyle have
lived near Portland, OR since
they moved there from Michigan
in 1984. They were recently
married after 27 years of
successful cohabitation.
We are presently spending
most of our time in Michigan
helping Maria's mom deal with a
serious illlness.
AJ retired from Xerox corporation
where he was responsible for
office product definition and
planning and we are planning a
nomadic lifestyle involving a
motor home and sailing. We
will attempt to document our
adventures on this web site.

AJ's sister Sally Rogers is a folk musician
and music teacher in Connecticut. Her
husband, Howie Bursen; is also a musician
and a winemaker at Sharpe Hill wineries.
He has designed several wineries and
done consulting to the industry.
AJ's sister Lisa Rogers Lee is a singer,
voice teacher and substitute teacher in
Seattle and is a former soprano with the
Seattle Choral Company. Her husband,
Reverend Jeff Lee, was recently elected as
the bishop of Chicago and they have just
moved there.
AJ's cousin Laura Oltman and her husband
Michael Newman are classical guitarists in
Princeton, NJ.
Our friends Tom & Chris Brayton live on
Maui in a recently restored (more like
entirely rebuilt) traditional Hawaiian house.

and entertainer whose music and work
includes folk and jazz music.
