2) Drove (in car) through Glacier National Park
3) Took tram up mountains in Banff, played tourist
4) Took ice vehicle over edge of glacier field near Jasper
5) Stayed at beautiful park on Lake Winnipeg
6) Rendezvous with Jane Bacon, friend from Portland
7) Took last remaining steam powered car ferry across Lake Michigan (SS Badger)
8) Family reunion at Esther’s (AJ’s mom) in Frankfort
9) Family reunion with Sean (Maria’s brother) in Lansing Area – Katherine Guins’ 90th birthday party
Labor day walk across Mackinac Bridge– AJ and friend Chuck Amboy sailed a canoe across the straits
Genealogy research in Cape Vincent – met Peter Rogers, AJ’s previously unknown third cousin
Stayed with AJ’s sister, Sally, in Connecticut and met AJ’s 5th cousin, Janice, for dinner nearby
D) Reunion with Maria’s high school buddy, Sharon
E) More genealogy research in Springfield, MA – home of AJ’s ancestral grandfather, Henry Rogers, born 1648
F) Long weekend in Montreal – playing tourist
G) Circumnavigated Mt Desert Island (in car), lunch in Bar Harbor
H) Reunion with Maria’s high school buddy, Allison, near Boston
Reunion with AJ’s cousins Laura Oltman & Michael Newman (guitarduo.com)
J) Reunion with Maria’s jr. high friend Gretchen, who she had not seen for 43 years
K) Reunion with AJ’s cousins Kathy & Dave in Melbourne, FL
L) Reunion with AJ’s cousins Curt & Janet – tram tour of the Everglades, complete with gators
M) Visited AJ’s 1st cousin Jimmy, recuperating in hospital
N) Stayed with Maria’s sister Timi in Ocala
O) Reunion with AJ’s college housemates Barb & Janet in Atlanta
P) Met Maria’s 2nd cousins Frank and Tracy for first time – Jemez Springs, New Mexico
Q) Stayed with friends Mike & Karen in their wonderful home outside Durango, Co
R) Stayed in Kanab Utah and did day trips to North Rim of Grand Canyon & Bryce Canyon
S) Stayed in park at Zion, toured the park
T) Visited Maria’s 2nd cousin, Rebecca, in Colfax, CA
U) Klamath Falls – our first time back in Oregon for 4 months!
