Reunion of Hagen Cousins in
Minnesota
Minnesota
AJ's cousin Jim Hagen recently completed a wonderful place right on the shore of Lake
Michigan, north of Duluth. This property if available for rent and is convenient to
Minneapolis and Duluth. We joined him, his brother John, and our cousins Carine and
Realpha for sort of a "trial run" of the place for a few days in September. We all
converged separately, by cars, RV and plane and had a great time in the Silver Bay area
of Minnesota.
We had the "Behemoth" in Indiana at the factory where it was built, taking care of some
niggling warranty issues. From there we drove to Minnesota for the reunion, and while
there, learned that Maria's stepfather, Earl, had succumbed to cancer after a challenging
and prolonged regimen of treatments. We headed back to Michigan, thereby completing
an enlarged circumnavigation of Lake Michigan.
While there, we visited several excellent parks, toured a historic lighthouse and tugboat,
and had a great time lounging in Jim's "hermitage." Click Here for photos of our stay,
